Meet the Designer
Estefania Zambrano is a Costume Designer and Stylist living in New York City. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, and Wardrobe Technician and Costume Design Specialist certificate from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
Her recent designs can be seen in the Magellan award-winning show ‘A Million Dreams’ onboard Azamara Cruises, at the IAAPA award-winning show at Hershey’s Chocolate World, and at Theme Parks, Special Events and Cruises Worldwide. She also designed costumes for Broadway Bares: Game Night. She has previously worked in the costume design department of Starz’s renowned Power spinoff “Raising Kanan”,’ and currently works on NBC’s “Law & Order: Organized Crime”.
A proud latina, her worldly experience living in Quito, Buenos Aires, Los Angeles and New York has given her the tools to immerse herself in the widely varied stories she is tasked to bring to life through costume. Her passion for costume design comes from the sublime power that an image has and how garments will tell you a narrative without words.
Estefania also uses her fashion background, and keen eye for design, as a stylist for private clients. In her free time, she loves traveling, bonus points if an unexpected adventure ensues; enjoys the best art and culture that New York City has to offer; and creates outfits for Nube, her Great Pyrenees pup-niece.
